Hi! My name is Alexandra (Alex) Welch, and I am a senior at Baylor University. I am set to graduate in December of 2022 with a BBA in marketing and a minor in studio art that is focused in graphic design. I am originally from Houma, Louisiana, which is about an hour southeast of New Orleans, Louisiana.

During my time at Baylor, I was a member of Student Foundations, Women in Business at Baylor, Alpha Lambda Delta, National Society of Colligate Scholars, and Tri Delta. During my first year in Student Foundations, I was a member of the student recruitment committee, which allowed me to meet with potential Baylor students and share my experiences and knowledge from my time at the university. During my second year in Student Foundations, I was a member of the alumni relations committee, where I got to reach out to and meet with alumni to keep them connected with the university. As a member of Tri Delta, I joined the licensing committee, and eventually became the licensing chairman. As licensing chair, I had the opportunity to design and create all of the merchandise for the chapter for all events as well as general PR merchandise. I also got to oversee a committee of women, which allowed me to sharpen my leadership and delegation skills.

With a major in marketing and a minor in studio art, I am in the unique position where I have the skills for every area of marketing. Through my business classes, I have learned all of the business skills for analytics, strategy, research, and advertising; however, with my studio art minor, I have the skills and knowledge of general design principals and elements. In my future career, I would love to pull my knowledge from both sides of the marketing industry, and apply it to my work.
